Cannarias Masters Cup 2026: the Canary Islands' first premium cannabis cup
The Canary Islands cannabis scene gains a new landmark in 2026: the Cannarias Masters Cup, the islands' first premium cannabis cup, organised by the Cannarias.net team.
The competition aims to recognise the quality of the best Canarian entries through professional tasting, clear categories and an organisation designed for participants and industry media.
When and where
The awards gala takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026 at a private villa in Fuerteventura. Access is by accreditation. Registration remains open until 23 October 2026 via the official website.
Four categories
The inaugural edition opens four competition categories:
- Professional flower
- Professional hash
- Professional rosin
- Non-professional flower
Professional categories are open to associations, clubs, professionals and industry projects. The non-professional flower category is open to adults.
Blind tasting and specialised judges
Each category has a specialised jury that evaluates samples anonymously using internal codes. Most judges' identities are reserved until the end of the contest to protect neutrality. Organisers state that prizes are not based on THC or CBD values.
Private event for adults 18+
The cup is presented as a private cultural and competitive event for adults only. According to the organisers, it does not promote the sale or consumption of cannabis.
